Intense Pulse Light Treatment Principle
Intense pulsed light(IPL) hair removal is a technology used by cosmetic and medical practitioners to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, including hair removal, photorejuvenation. A client sits or lies in a comfortable position, and then a beautician glides a wand-like tool, or hand-piece, over his or her skin. The hand-piece emits a beam of specially filtered light, which is absorbed by the hair and converted to heat. This heat disintegrates the hair and disables the hair follicle.
